Manor Furniture and Appliances has been in business for over 75 years. Established as Central Service in 1935 by the Gribik family at the corner of 9th Street and 5th Avenue in Ford City, Pennsylvania. Central Service sold appliances along with televisions, auto parts, gasoline, and repaired cars. In 1957 Michael Gribik established a second store, Manor Furniture on property he purchased in Manor Township. Furniture and Appliances were sold at this location. The present store was built in 1963 and the business was passed on to his daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Bunny) Choncek and her husband John in 1992. Their son Brian joined the business in 2003. Whirlpool appliances were added in 2006 when the original store, Central Service, closed its' doors. Manor Furniture is truly one stop shopping, selling furniture, appliances, bedding, carpeting, ceramic tile, and hardwood.
Furniture is discounted 35% to 60% off suggested retail price everyday, there is no need to wait for a sale. In house service, free financing and layaway are also offered.
